Gratitude is an important key to happiness

As this unforeseen 2020 is finally coming to its end, it is a great time to stop for a while and think about the good things that surround us. Despite the challenges faced this year, there is always something positive and something to be grateful for as well. It can be anything that makes you feel happy.

Multiple studies in the field of positive psychology have confirmed that expressing gratitude has several positive impacts on our well-being. The impact of writing down some things that you are grateful for has been proved to increase the levels of experienced happiness immediately.

The increase in happiness has been found to persist on a high level even for several weeks after writing. Focusing on the good in life really seems to have its benefits.
