Finalists and winners for The EdTech Awards 2021 have been announced to a worldwide audience of educators, technologists, students, parents, and policymakers interested in building a better future for learners and leaders in the education and workforce sectors. Mightifier achieved a finalist position as EdTech Cool Tool category for e-learning, blended, or flipped solution.

Celebrating its 11th year, the US-based program is the largest recognition program in all of the education technology, recognizing the biggest names in educational technology – and the future ones to be.

Victor Rivero, who as Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest, oversees the program, said:
“The worldwide pandemic put education and training to the test, but remote learning and working—in many unexpected ways—ultimately brought us closer”.

Mervi Pänkäläinen, Founder and CEO of Mightifier, stated when hearing of the results:
“We are extremely happy to receive this recognition from EdTech Digest. Recent times have seen an extraordinary rise in the need for social-emotional learning in education. Teachers and students have gone through challenging times whilst coping with the epidemic. With our SEL tools, we hope to ease off the pressure by solving difficult issues.”

“It is important to introduce these critical skills to children. These skills not only strengthen the development of self-awareness and self-esteem and support students and families at large during the pandemic but will also be part of their future successful career and life skills in general. ”
